Where do you I get my packet, timing chip, t-shirt?

At the Hospitals of Providence Health & Fitness Expo, Saturday, February 16th from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the El Paso Convention Center. To view parking options, click here. This will also be the last chance for people to register and pick up packets. There is no race day registration or packet pick up.

Is there race day registration or packet pick up?

No. If you’re not able to make it you can send someone else down to pick your packet up as long as they have a copy of your confirmation.

On race day where do I wear my bib number?

Make sure your bib number is easily visible to race officials at all times.

What time does the race start?

The Half Marathon and Michelob Ultra Full Marathon start at 7 a.m. The 5K will start at 7:10 a.m.

Where do the races start?

The Michelob Ultra Full Marathon, half marathon and the Up and Running 5K will start at Southwest University Ballpark at the corner of Durango and W. Franklin.

Where do the races finish?

All races finish at Southwest University Park. Invite your family and friends to enjoy the finish line activities, live bands, concessions and a Health / Fitness Expo.

Will there be finisher medals?

Full and Half marathon finishers will receive a finisher medal.

Will there be clothing drop off available on race day?

Yes. Bring your OWN bag on race day or use one of ours to stash your clothing in. Markers will be available for you to write your bib number on the bag for you to match when picking up. Do not put any valuables in these bags, ie. cell phones, money, ID’s etc. There will be designated areas at both start lines for clothing drop off.

Where do I park on race day?

There will be parking available at the Convention Center, Mills parking garage & the Union Plaza parking garage. Follow this link for a more comprehensive list of parking options.

How will water stations be positioned?

The Michelob Ultra Full Marathon will have water stations at every 2 miles up to mile 16 then a station every mile. The Half Marathon will have a water station every 2 miles up to mile 8 then share water stations with the Marathon every mile back to the finish line.

What will be at the water stations?

Water of course, and Nuun hydration drink. There will also be Honey Stinger energy gel at mile 10 and 20 of the Marathon and at mile 6 for the Half Marathon. 

There will also be plenty of entertainment and enthusiasm at all water stations!

How will I know where to go on the course?

Course volunteers will be wearing VOLUNTEER shirts and will be positioned at each turn instructing you to turn when you need to.

Will there be any post-race refreshments?

Participants will be treated to post-race refreshments courtesy of Michelob Ultra & Burritos from Crave. Michelob Ultra for participants over 21, chocolate milk, water, fruit & burritos for all participants. Only participants will be allowed in the post-race food area and must be wearing their race bib to gain entry.

Concessions will be available for spectators.

Zen Therapeutic Retreat, the official massage therapy team for the Michelob Ultra El Paso Marathon will be providing post race sports massage in the WestStar Lounge until 12:00pm.

Is there a time limit for the Full Marathon race?

Yes. The race is permitted through the City of El Paso for 6 hours. Anyone who has not reached the 20 mile mark 11:30 am will be picked up and transported to the finish line.
